   Flipkart delivered the V-Guard Requpro exactly ON TIME – as they had confirmed, on the 21st August. Flipkart organised for the installation as per their commitment for installation which happened on the 22nd August 2023.
   The Service Executive Mr Muthukumar promptly arrived as per his call and measured the TDS at tap level (I live in Bengaluru and we have both municipal and bore well water) and the TDS was found to be between 140 to 160. Mr Muthukumar immediately suggested that RO Water Purifier would reduce the TDS to levels that would be so low that it may not a good thing for the human body. He explained that a very low TDS would be almost equal to distilled water which is unfit for daily usage as no essential minerals would be present. He suggested us to consider UV+UF type water purifier.
   I learnt that V-Guard Service Executives are direct employees and their knowledge as well as the pride about their product and being ethical is evident
   I decided that we will cancel this model and go in for a different one – we needed only UV+UF+Sediment type water purifier.
   However, after considering various factors such as that we may shift to a different location and where the water TDS may be higher, in which case we would definitely require RO type purifier, I again requested V-Guard and they came back for the installation. Excellent support.
   The solution V-Guard gave is that they removed the pump connection, did not connect the RO Membrane and instead it now functions only as a Pre-Filter+Sediment+UV+Min+Post Carbon+ UF purifier. The RO Membrane and connectors are safely stored for use when needed. The model chosen by me comes with a fully covered Polypropylene (PP) tank.
   Their purification and mineralisation process was thoroughly explained and I am happy
   We need to get used to the new water taste as this unit comes with Mineralizer which we have not used before. Mr Muthukumar said the the mineraliser used by V-Guard is of the highest standard and specially designed to provide all of the essential nutrients to the body including copper.
   One of the reasons for selecting the Requpro HRRO is that this Requpro model comes with a unique high water recovery membrane system. One of the unfortunate problems with the RO purifiers is that so much water is wasted. But so often it becomes essential. The Requpro HRRO is a high water recovery type purifier which saves on wastage of water by reducing the wastage to 20% to 40% (depending upon the TDS level of input water).
   I will be adding a Alkaline converter cartridge as an addition if I need to shift to a different location where the TDS levels can become very high.
   LATEST UPDATE: After using the purifier for about 30 days, it is a good decision we took. We are getting used to the water taste, and feel good that we are getting all the needed mineral nutrients. WATER TASTES VERY GOOD
   One con of this product is that it does not have a stand for you to fill water mugs etc for serving.
