I needed a mixer for making smoothies primarily. I found this product good for the price. Although, I have not used it a lot so far. But I have utilized all the 3 jars that came with it. Some of the factors that I base my conclusions upon:
Performance : Performance is good. All the functions work as expected. I have not faced any issues with the motor. And the mixing/grinding capabilities are good.
Noise : Motor is a bit noisy. Especially with the curved top jar (500 ml capacity). The mixer even feels a little unstable while using that jar and you have to hold the jar to keep it from moving too much. But the noise levels are comparatively lower while using the shaker jar (flat top) and it is pretty stable.
Jar Quality : The jars are of good quality and so are the blades. I have faced leakages at times but not when I used to secure the lid tightly. However, it makes opening the jars very difficult, in that case. One of my jars started leaking everytime I used it. And upon complaining to the customer service, I was sent a replacement.
Customer Service : I am happy with Cookwell’s customer service. They were quick in responding back to my complaint and even provided a resolution quickly. I hope they keep it up.
