I recently purchased the LG 8.5 kg semi-automatic washing machine from Flipkart, and overall, I am happy with the product but disappointed with the delivery experience.
Product Review:
The washing machine is excellent in terms of functionality and performance. It comes with great features like the Roller Jet Pulsator and Collar Scrubber, making it very efficient for washing clothes. The design is sleek, and the build quality is robust. The machine works silently and has a spacious drum, which is perfect for a medium to large-sized family. The included lint filter is easy to install and ensures cleaner washes.
However, I noticed a small amount of water inside the machine during unboxing. Upon inquiry, I was informed that this is due to the company testing for leakage before dispatch, which makes sense but could have been communicated better.
Delivery Experience:
The delivery experience was disappointing. The delivery boy was extremely unprofessional and careless. While bringing the machine upstairs, he caused 2-3 small scratches on my brand-new machine, which was very upsetting. Moreover, his behavior was rude when I asked about it, which made the experience even worse. I would urge Flipkart to train their delivery staff better and ensure they handle products with care.
Final Thoughts:
While the product itself is fantastic and worth the money, Flipkart needs to improve its delivery service. This washing machine deserves 5 stars, but I am deducting 1 star due to the poor delivery experience.
