Honest consumer Review :
This might be a long review but if you are planning to buy this purifier and have some doubts about its working and maintenance costs, please go through it as I’ve put a lot of effort testing the purifier and bringing the results to you.
This purifier may not be a looker but it’s definitely a performer. On the very first day it was installed, it had an issue with the outlet tap as started leaking slowly. I called the customer care number provided on the unit and they responded very quickly and promptly and rectified the problem.
I’ve requested the technician to set the output TDS Level to 80 as too low TDS level is not good for health as such a low level means the water is deprived of most of the essential minerals to our body. And moreover low TDS Level results in higher wastage of water from the unit and lower cartridge life.
I’ve read so many reviews online where people complain about this model wasting so much of water through the drain pipe. So I’ve decided to test it and these are my findings.
Total tank capacity: 6.5 Ltrs (not 7Lts as advertised)
Waste water produced for a full tank of pure water: 12.2 Ltrs
My supply water (overhead tank) TDS : 450
Purified water TDS : 79 (technician set it to 80)
Waste water TDS : 637
Time taken to fill the tank : around 20 mins
So, this purifier wastes roughly around two litres of water for every one litre of pure water produced (ratio 1:2) which is on par with any other water purifier (UV+UF+RO) from a reputed brand. And believe me I’ve seen some good purifiers having this ratio as 1:3 (pure water : waste water)
Coming to the taste, it’s OK. Could be better. But if you are not so critical about the taste, you wouldn’t find any difference between this and any other costlier purifier.
Maintenance costs:
I advise you to use a pre-filter with this as it stops any visible physical impurities (like sand and gravel) from entering the unit and so prolongs the life of catridges.
If you use around 15-20 litres of water every day and suppose your input water TDS is around 500, then your maintenance costs are mentioned below.
Pre-filter change – once every 6months (cost: 250/-)
Carbon sediment filter – once every 6 months (cost : Rs.1000/-)
RO filter: life:10,000 lts, so, around once in 18-24 months (cost: around Rs.2000/-)
UV lamp : no need to change unless found faulty
So, it’s maintenance cost is also less compared to other purifiers.
Water purifier has become a compulsory appliance in our kitchen with the present day scenario whether you are from a city, town or a village. Believe me it’s a worthy investment. And if you are looking for a quality product and yet cheap to maintain, this is the one you have to go for.
If you find this review helpful please like it as it took me a lot of effort to bring it to you guys. Thank you. Keep Smiling 🙂

Product is good and stable . Prefilter(external filter) dosen’t come in the box .
Livpure local installation guy will bring it and charges 700rs . He even demanded tips for the installation above this.
He will extra charge you if your water outlet needs any extra fittings other than the branching valve.
Be advised of these things
1. Total Four drill holes have to made on wall for mounting water filter and pre filter.
2. Main valve to the kitchen/apartment has to be closed for 5-10 minutes for installation
2. Never sign the installation report without complete installation completion.
3. Ask the technician to adjust TDS level (70 to 95 is best setting) at final stage of installation. These guys skip this part, because it takes time.
4. there are lot of connection/joints inside filter (running between various filter catridges). Run the device for 10 – 15 minutes (keep casing opened) and make sure no water leakage is observed.
5. Check the UV lamp is glowing.

Bought this in Big Billion Day sale at Rs. 6649. I think this is super worthy & probably the best purifier out there in market under 10K. Just keep in below points-
1) Firstly check the TDS level of ur supply water; if it is above 300, then only go for an RO purifier. Otherwise u absolutely don’t need to spend on this.
2) Call Livpure Customer care & check if the service is available in ur area or not. I live in a remote village of WB, and still they get this installed pretty fast.
3) MOST IMPORTANT- There is a option of pre-TDS level setting in this purifier. The installation technician will do this at the last part of installation. Make sure u tell him/her to keep the settings at 100-120 level. This process takes time, so they tend to skip this. Make them bound to do that.
4) Don’t fall into trap of AMC, because unless u have a pretty high tds of supply water, u don’t need to change the RO cartridge before 3 years. And an external pre-filter costing rs 700 will do the job of keeping the health of inner filter for long period of time.
That’s all. YOU CAN BLINDLY GO FOR THIS PRODUCT.
