This ac is good but kinda makes a good intensity of noise. To ice the cake; voltas after sales service is just horrible. Their customer care executives are surely 10th fail people who not only lack a proper sense of talking but have zero technical knowledge about the product.
I have bought numerous products from flipkart worth lakhs of rupees but after this purchase I have learnt something, i.e. “DO NOT EVER BUY BIG APPLIANCES FROM FLIPKART”.
Firstly, they will clearly instruct you not to open the seal of the product and that not to get it installed by anyone else because they will send authorized persons to do the installation and if you do not obey this criteria; the product warranty will be void. So now, you have no option left except to wait for their so call pseudo “authorized” technician. You need to wait for them and leave your office and stuff.
Flipkart will then assign ‘jeeves’ to do the installation and then ‘jeeves’ will outsource the installation to some another vendor, this xyz vendor will then outsource it to some local technician of your area. At the end of the day some local tom dick & harry will turn up for the installation and will do the installation anyhow; without caring about the beauty, the look of the area of the installation, etc etc. In simpler word, f’d up bullshit installation.
Flipkart says the so called pseudo “authorized” technician will install the ac and fill the gaps with heat insulating material and stuff but all these are just bogus. Those illiterate local guys do not even know what heat insulating material are. It was a nightmare to buy the ac from flipkart.
My suggestion is that when you buy such products such as air conditioners which needs delicate installation, AVOID FLIPKART. Its better that to buy such products from a local authorized dealer and get the installation done perfectly as per your wish and convenience even if you need to pay couple to bucks extra because at the end after spending such huge amount of money what you need is satisfaction and good service.

Picked it up for my 200 Sq ft living room with open kitchen. Was apprehensive whether it would be effective or not being 1.5 T. However, all doubts dispelled. Has worked superbly even in 45 deg Delhi afternoons. Very good product..My 3rd Voltas Window AC.. Just a que to the Voltas Guys.. All window AC don’t have to look the same… Hitachis look different… A bit of aesthetics improvement would surely help this product
